Setting up the OVR sprint takes a couple of minutes, which allows me to be efficient with my time. I like the fact that the gates don’t have to be perfectly aligned and that you can run through either gate without having to designate a start and stop gate.

Aight... my official @OVRPerformance review. Over the last two days we've timed over 200 flys. In those 200 reps... ZERO dropped times. ZERO need for phone apps. ZERO obvious timing errors. I've taught two coaches and athletes how to set up the system on their own in less than two minutes.

OVR Sprint records every time with ±0.001 second precision, matching the accuracy of professional sprint timing systems that cost 3‑4× more. That millisecond resolution means reliable PRs and trustworthy testing data.
Does it really only take 60 seconds to setup?
Yes. Flip‑open mini tripods, snap the gates on with magnetic mounts, point the Sender at the Receiver. Most users can go start to finish within 60 seconds with no screw clamps or precise laser alignment.
Can I use OVR Sprint without the app?
Absolutely. Each Receiver has a built‑in OLED screen that shows split and total times instantly. When you want long‑term tracking, sync sessions to the free OVR Connect app for cloud backups, PR history, and shareable leaderboards.
How many devices can I link together?
You can chain up to 16 gates per group and choose from 10 independent radio channels. That lets you test up to ten lanes simultaneously—with zero cross‑talk—perfect for combines, team testing days, or group training.
Does sunlight interfere with the laser?
No. OVR Sprint uses a filtered infrared beam that rejects ambient light, so bright, direct sunlight won’t cause missed reads or false trips.
