Force plates have been stuck in the lab for years. Five-figure price tags, annual software subscriptions, and setups so complicated the plates only come out on testing day. Most programs never get one at all.

That's why we built OVR Force. Pro-level data at a price programs can actually afford, with no subscription. Step on, get data, and move on.

  • 24" × 18" footprint
  • 32 lb per plate
  • 1 N resolution, validated against gold-standard force plates
  • 1000 Hz sampling rate
  • 4,000 lb capacity
  • Built-in display, no phone needed
  • Three modes: Jump, Force, Free
  • Up to 18 hours of battery, USB-C charging
  • Hard anodized aluminum surface
  • 2-year warranty
  • Free OVR Connect app (iOS + Android), no subscription

OVR Force samples force 1,000 times per second with 1 N resolution. Step on and it detects your bodyweight, and starts recording the moment you move. Clear status badges on the screen and LEDs tell every athlete exactly what to do next.

Results appear on the built-in display the second the rep ends. No phone or laptop required. Add a second plate with a single cable for left/right asymmetry data, or connect the free OVR Connect app for deeper analysis.

What is OVR Force?

OVR Force is a force plate. Step on and it measures the force you put into the ground. Get all your metrics on the built-in display, or free app.

Force plates should beexpensive, complex, confusingeasy to use

Set up in no time

Step on, hold steady, and perform a rep. The plate does all the rest.

Step on

Step on the plate and hold steady

Quiet Stand

Hold still a second while the plate records your bodyweight.

STEP ONHOLDJUMP

Jump

All metrics are automatically recorded. Also works for isometric tests.

Next

Results show on the display, and the next athlete can step up.

The only force plate with a display

Every other force plate hides your results inside an app. OVR Force puts a full display on the plate itself, so the data is right where you train.

  • No phone required
  • Customize metrics shown on display
  • Results show the instant you finish

One plate or two?

A single plate can be used by itself. Dual plates add asymmetry, more surface area, and can be used as two independent stations or one connected setup.

Common questions

No subscription. The OVR Connect app is free, and the force plates work fully on their own.

No. Results appear on the built-in screen the moment a rep ends. The app is optional and adds history and deeper analysis.

OVR Force was validated against gold standard force plates with a high degree of reliability. Click here to read the full study.

The two differences are surface area and asymmetry. A single plate measures everything except asymmetry, which is the left/right comparison: how much more force one side produces than the other. Two plates add that comparison and double the surface area.

Strength and conditioning coaches, sports performance coaches, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and athletes who train on their own. Anyone who wants objective force data to guide training or return-to-sport decisions.

The OVR Force plate, a 1-meter USB-C cable used for both charging and tethering two plates together, a charging block, and a quick-start guide.

Yes. The OVR Connect app exports your results to CSV, so you can pull your data into your own spreadsheets, reports, or tracking system.

The top surface is half-inch hard-anodized aluminum on stainless steel feet, rated to 4,000 lb. It is built for daily use in a real weight room.

Two years against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Read the user manual for full warranty details.
